Version 1.2.0

September 2026

A simpler app

  • Three labelled tabs: Goals, Plan and Settings. Your goals and your fixed commitments now live together on the Goals tab.
  • One name for one thing: what you want time for is a goal everywhere in the app.
  • Finishing setup builds your first plan straight away.
  • Each day has a menu with its summary, reordering and "mark as off day", so nothing is hidden behind a gesture.
  • Complete or skip a block with one tap, a swipe or the widget, and undo it from the message that follows.
  • Settings are grouped into Planning, Calendar, App and Data.

Better plans

  • Blocks are scheduled in 5-minute steps, and a goal is never planned short of its target.
  • The break you set between blocks of the same goal is respected even when a week starts part-way through.
  • Rebuilding a plan keeps a block that is already under way.

Calendar

  • After upgrading to Pro, Mosaic asks for permission to add events the first time you push your plan.
  • Calendar requests give up cleanly instead of hanging on a poor connection.
  • The landscape share image shows when each block ends.

Easier to read

  • Text contrast was measured on a real device and raised to accessibility guidelines across the app, including with Material You colours.
  • Dates and labels are shortened to fit instead of being cut off.
  • Charts and progress rows are described to TalkBack.

Privacy and reliability

  • Anonymous usage analytics are off unless you choose to turn them on.
  • Tapping a notification opens the right part of the app.
  • The app remembers which tab you were on, even if Android closes it in the background.
  • Faster CSV export for long histories.

Version 1.1.0

March 2026

New

  • Available in German, Spanish, Japanese, Korean and Brazilian Portuguese.
  • Daily goals, for habits you want to do every day rather than a number of hours a week.
  • Buffer time before and after commitments, and a default transition time around calendar events.
  • Ignore individual calendar events so the planner schedules over them.
  • Pick a range of days off, not just one.
  • A completion heatmap, a trend view for each goal, and a daily completion log.
  • A landscape grid layout for sharing your plan, with the option to leave out commitments and calendar events.
  • Browse your past plans.
  • Milestone celebrations when a streak reaches 3, 5, 10, 25 and 50 weeks.

Improved

  • Material You: the app can take its colours from your wallpaper.
  • A marker for the current time and a button to jump back to now.
  • Build, progress and past plans are gathered into one bar at the top of the plan.
  • Shorter onboarding (five screens instead of eight), with tips shown where they are useful instead of a guided tour.
  • Tablet layouts, the predictive back gesture, and animated week changes.
  • Higher-priority goals are marked with a subtle glow.
  • Export your history as CSV.
  • Mosaic asks for narrower Google Calendar permissions.
  • Smoother start-up.
